Easy Procedure Of Getting Glowing Skin At Home

Whether you are a teen with a few pimples to take care of or whether you are in a more mature stage of your life where you want to keep the signs of the time at bay, taking care of your skin is a necessity for every woman (and man actually). And in this tough economic climate, having this done professionally by going for regular facials and treatments might not be in your budget. That does not mean you need to give up on having this luxury in personal care.

You CAN have a great facial at home and get the glowing skin you want. This needn't be an expensive exercise, it does not have to be time consuming, you don't need any special, hard to find ingredients and tools and it does not have to be messy. Follow these step-by-step instructions to get the results you want and you deserve: Step 1: Decide on the type of facial you want.

Deciding on the type of facial you will do depend on your age and your skin type and if you want to treat any particular condition (acne, dry skin, wrinkles) or if you just want to do general maintenance.

Step 2: Buy a facemask or find a natural facemask recipe to suit your skin type.

You can buy a good facemask from your local drug store or even better, you can make one from ingredients you probably already have in your kitchen. There are many recipes for great homemade facemasks to suit every skin type or condition. All you need to do is search. Then gather these ingredients and make your mask. Step 3: Gather together all the things you need for an effective home facial.

Besides a face mask you will also need a few other things like a bowl to steam your face over, a kettle to boil water, a towel, an exfoliate suitable to your skin type, a toner or tonic and a moisturizer. Step 4: Prepare your facial steam

Boil a full kettle of water. Pour this into your basin or into a bowl. The water will be very hot, so you might need to add a little cold water so as not to scorch your skin. Step 5: Cleanse and exfoliate your skin.

If you are not using an exfoliating mask then it is a good thing to use some kind of exfoliation method when you clean your skin. Either use homemade face scrubs, a facial cleanser with exfoliating beads, an exfoliating sponge or a sonic facial cleanser machine.

Step 6: Steam your face

Your face is now free of makeup and cleansed and exfoliated. It is now ready for a steam. Cover your head with a towel to trap steam. Step 7: Apply your Mask

After you have steamed your face you are now ready to apply the mask you bought or made in step 2. Apply evenly using circular motions. Leave the mask on for the recommended time. Relax. Step 8: Rinse, tone and moisturize

Rinse off your facemask with tepid water. Tone your skin using your regular toner or use a natural toner like rose water. Apply your usual moisturizer.
